Delete Your Time Tracker Account and Data

This page explains two separate things: how to delete your Time Tracker account entirely, and how to delete individual pieces of your data without deleting your account. Choose whichever matches what you want to do.

Delete Your Account

Deleting your account removes your account and all of the time tracking data associated with it. This cannot be undone.

If you still have the app installed

1. Open Time Tracker and make sure you are signed in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Open Account.
4. Select Delete Account.
5. Type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete Account. Deletion runs immediately and signs you out.

If you have already uninstalled the app

Email support@lightofdata.earth from the email address you used to sign in, and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm the request from that address before acting on it, and confirm to you once the deletion is complete.

What is deleted

• Your account: your Time Tracker account and its sign-in credentials.
• All of your time tracking data on our servers: your clients, projects, tasks, time entries and app settings are hard deleted from our database — not flagged or archived.
• Your Google Calendar connection: if you had calendar sync enabled, it is disconnected. You can also revoke Time Tracker's calendar access yourself from your Google Account permissions.
• The local copy on your device: synchronisation is disconnected and the app's local database file is deleted from the device you deleted the account from.

What is kept, and for how long

• Subscription and purchase records: if you have ever subscribed, records of those purchases are retained by RevenueCat and by Apple or Google for as long as required for billing, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. Those records are held by those providers, not by us, and deleting your Time Tracker account does not remove them.
• Backups: your data is deleted from our live servers immediately. Copies may persist in routine backups, which age out within 7 days, and are never restored to the live service.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel through your Apple ID or Google Play account before deleting your account, otherwise billing continues.

This matches the retention terms in our Privacy Policy.

Delete Some of Your Data Without Deleting Your Account

You do not have to delete your account to remove data. You can delete individual records at any time from inside the app, and keep the account itself.

• Time entries: delete any entry from the time entry list or from the entry's own screen.
• Clients and projects: delete a client or a project from its list in the app.
• Tasks: delete a task from the project it belongs to.
• Calendar sync: turn calendar synchronisation off in Settings at any time.

These deletions are synchronised to our servers, so the record is removed from the cloud database as well as from your device, on every device signed in to your account.

If there is data you cannot remove yourself, email support@lightofdata.earth from your account's email address and tell us what you want deleted. This route is for partial deletion only — it leaves your account in place. To remove everything, use the account deletion steps above.

Export Your Timesheet Reports

Before deleting anything, you may want a copy of your work. From the Reports screen you can export a timesheet report as CSV or PDF and share or save the file from your device.

This is a timesheet report export, not a complete export of your account. It covers the time entries in the report you generate, in a fixed timesheet layout; it does not export your client and project records, your app settings, or your calendar associations. If you need a copy of data the report export does not cover, contact us at support@lightofdata.earth and we will help.
